Position Overview

The Apprentice Electrician will work under the supervision of a licensed Journeyman Electrician to assist in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and components. This position is ideal for individuals seeking to develop hands‑on experience, technical knowledge, and the skills needed to advance toward journeyman-level certification.

Technical Skills

• Basic understanding of electrical systems, wiring, and circuitry
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment
• Knowledge of NEC electrical code and OSHA regulations
• Basic math and measurement skills for calculating voltage, current, and resistance
• Understanding of conduit bending, wiring installation, and cable management
• Ability to assist in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical components and systems
