Job summary

Indiana University Health System is seeking a skilled electrician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical equipment and distribution systems at Riley Hospital. You will follow preventative maintenance schedules to maximize equipment life and support related systems such as nurse call and PA systems.

Qualifications

• Reporting problems through the work order system and assisting in remodeling planning when applicable.

Hours

11pm-7:30am - Sunday night to Thursday night. This position requires rotating every 5th weekend (once training is complete)

Location

Riley Hospital

Installs, maintains, troubleshoots and repairs electrical equipment and circuits, including power distribution systems, motor control centers and backup emergency switch gear. Follows appropriate preventative maintenance schedules to ensure proper maintenance and maximum life of the equipment. May participate in customer service activities related to electrical distribution, nurse call systems, TV systems, public address systems and other equipment and systems. Reports problems through the work order system and suggests solutions to systems and equipment. May participate in the planning and execution process for remodeling and construction. Performs other related duties as assigned.

**Must have at least 1 year of electrical experience in addition to a strong maintenance background**
