Job summary

Appalachian Aggregates, LLC seeks an electrician to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems across all plants. You should bring a strong construction background, attention to detail, and a high standard of quality, with a motivated, positive team attitude.

OSHA/MSHA safety knowledge, ability to read schematics/blueprints, and NEC familiarity are required. The role requires climb/lift, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work in demanding environments.

Qualifications

• Must have been employed as an electrician or electrician apprentice within the past 18 months.
• Knowledge of OSHA/MSHA safety requirements related to electrical operations.
• Able to read and understand electrical schematics and blueprints.
• Working knowledge of three-phase motors, programmable controls, circuits and NEC.
• Able to understand and apply basic mathematical skills.
• Valid driver's license.
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Frequent climbing, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, stooping and twisting.
• Able to use tools and equipment for repair and maintenance while in various positions.

Education/Experience

• Associate's degree or completion of Technical School and Apprenticeship program or equivalent in training, experience and education.
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years industrial experience support functions.
