Job summary

Dorney Park is seeking skilled electricians to join our team to maintain and repair electrical systems across the park, including lighting, facility circuits, and ride-related equipment. The role emphasizes safety, diagnostics, and keeping park operations running smoothly.

This full-time, year-round position requires the ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, with a competitive hourly rate of $30 and benefits such as vacation time and park access.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in electrical technology or related field.
• 3–5 years of related experience.
• Must be able to read electrical schematics, charts, diagrams, and blueprints.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper electrical maintenance and safe operation of all park rides.
• Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical work on rides, ride control systems, computer, and PLC.
• Install electrical conduit and wiring; maintain controls and motors on rides and ride lighting.
• Modify electrical/electronic systems to ensure ride safety and efficiency.
• Review technical documents and manuals to support maintenance work.
• Maintain accurate inspection sheets, logs, and downtime records.
