Job summary

Intrepid Global Solutions is seeking a Master Electrician to perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems across our defense-linked operations in the United States. The role requires completing an Electrician Apprenticeship or equivalent training, with at least 8 years as a Master Electrician and 2+ years in a supervisory capacity, and a valid Certified Master Electrician credential.

Job description

The Electrician Master performs a variety of electrical trade functions such as the installation, maintenance, or repair of equipment for the generation, distribution, or utilization of electric energy. Work involves most of the following: installing or repairing any of a variety of electrical equipment such as generators, transformers, switchboards, controllers, circuit breakers, motors, heating units, conduit systems, or other transmission equipment; working from blueprints, drawings, layouts, or other specifications; locating and diagnosing trouble in the electrical system or equipment; working standard computations relating to load requirements of wiring or electrical equipment; and using a variety of electrician’s hand tools and measuring and testing instruments. In general, the work of the maintenance electrician requires rounded training and experience usually acquired through a formal apprenticeship or equivalent training and experience.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or GED. Completion of Electrician Apprenticeship
• Minimum of 8 years as a Master Electrician plus 2 Years of supervisory experience.
• Must be a Certified Master Electrician

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

Considerable knowledge of the job. Complete acquaintance with and understanding of the general and detailed aspects of the job, and their practical applications to problems and situations ordinarily encountered.
