Job summary

We Power America is seeking electricians for Reading, PA on high-profile commercial and industrial projects. We are especially in need of journey level and supervisory level workers. Positions are full-time with hours ranging 42–66 per hour and all employer-paid benefits.

Responsibilities include installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, code compliance, blueprint reading, system upgrades, safety protocols, and on-call emergency support. This role emphasizes teamwork and quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial/industrial electrical work preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and schematics.
• Strong commitment to safety protocols and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Installation and maintenance of electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues using a range of tools.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal codes and building regulations.
• Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for installations and upgrades.
• Upgrade and modify existing electrical systems as required.
• Adhere to lockout/tagout and other safety procedures.
• Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and team members to meet project timelines and budgets.
• Perform preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and improve efficiency.
• Provide on-call support for emergency electrical repairs.
