About the Role: The Electrician - Install is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. This role involves reading blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings to ensure the safe and efficient installation of electrical systems. The Install Electrician works closely with other trades and contractors to complete projects on time and within budget while adhering to all safety and quality standards.

- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including wiring, conduit, fixtures, and equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings to plan and execute electrical installations.
- Ensure all electrical installations comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical problems in existing systems.
- Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems and equipment.
- Repair or replace faulty wiring, fixtures, and equipment as needed.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and report any hazards or violations.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of electrical codes and standards.
- Collaborate with other trades and contractors to coordinate electrical installations with other construction activities.
- Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Communicate project status and any issues to the Electrical Supervisor or Project Manager.
- Inspect electrical installations to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Test electrical systems and components to verify proper operation.
- Maintain accurate records of installations, maintenance, and repairs.
- Interact professionally with clients and customers to understand their needs and provide solutions.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and effectively.
- Provide recommendations for electrical system upgrades and improvements.
Electrician - Install Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent. Completion of an electrical apprenticeship program or relevant vocational training is preferred.
- Proven experience as an electrician, with a focus on installation work.
- Proven experience in residential, commercial, and/or industrial electrical installations.
- Valid electrician’s license or certification in accordance with local and state regulations.
- Additional certifications (e.g., OSHA safety training, specialized electrical certifications) are a plus.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and wiring methods.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina and dexterity for working in various environments and conditions.
