Job summary

Guidant Power seeks an experienced electrician to perform infrared scans for healthcare and commercial facilities across the United States. You will guide customers, analyze thermal images, and prepare detailed reports to prevent equipment failures and safety incidents.

This is a high-travel, remote-position job with on-site customer interfaces. Responsibilities include conducting inspections, communicating findings, and assisting with energy audits while traveling to sites nationwide.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and experience with Industrial electrical distribution.
• Electrical infrared thermography certification and experience is strongly preferred but not required as we can train.
• Excellent communication skills with individuals at all levels, including maintenance staff, facility managers, and engineers.
• Solid computer skills, especially with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong time management, organization, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform infrared thermographic inspections of electrical systems, mechanical equipment, and/or roofing at commercial and industrial job sites.
• Analyze thermal images to identify anomalies or potential failures.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports using company templates, clearly documenting findings and recommendations for corrective action.
• Represent the company professionally on-site as the primary customer interface.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and customer personnel to ensure clarity and accuracy of inspection results.
• Complete administrative duties in a timely manner, including time tracking, expense reporting, and travel arrangements.
• May also support building energy audits and assist with cataloging customers’ electrical and mechanical assets.

We’re seeking an electrician to perform electrical infrared scans for healthcare and commercial facilities throughout the United States. No more pulling conduit. You’ll work with facility teams in a variety of environments to guide customers on their electrical journey and identify issues before they lead to equipment failure or safety incidents.

• This is an 80-100% travel position
