Job summary

Centric Pipe, LLC in Bossier City, LA seeks an Electrician / Technician with industrial and automation knowledge. You will maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems, install power wiring for new equipment, and read schematics to diagnose issues with 3-phase 480V systems, Allen Bradley PLCs, and HMIs.

Overtime and shift rotations are part of the role. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, journeyman preferred, and ability to work in a noisy industrial environment with safety

Qualifications

• Journeyman experience preferred; 2+ years in electrical/industrial settings.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and schematics.
• Experience with industrial electrical maintenance and PLC-based automation control.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot industrial electrical equipment and controls (Allen Bradley PLCs; HMIs).
• Install and connect power supply wiring and conduit for new equipment.
• Inspect, test, and service equipment to ensure proper operation.

Handles high voltage (3 phase, 480V) * Oversees periodic inspections, tests, and maintenance procedures on equipment to preserve and perpetuate proper functionality. * Assist with interpretations of terminations; reading schematics and understanding root problems * Installs and connects power supply wiring and conduit for newly installed equipment. * Diagnoses malfunctions in equipment and repairs/replaces as needed. * Communicates electrical issues to engineering and plant management. |* Other: Temporarily assume the duties and responsibilities of other roles, as directed by management.
