Aerotek is hiring an Electrician for a recreation center remodel in Commerce, TX. You will lead journeyman-level electrical tasks on a hands-on construction site, installing wiring, fixtures, and conduit while following safety practices and site plans.
The position is contract-to-hire and onsite with competitive hourly pay. You will work independently after initial instructions, coordinate with other trades, and ensure quality and safety standards are met.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an apprentice to journeyman-level electrician.
- Strong hands-on experience with electrical installation on construction projects.
- Proficiency in light fixture installation, including mounting, wiring, and testing.
- Demonstrated ability in conduit bending and installation for various sizes and configurations.
- Proven experience in wire pulling for new and existing electrical systems.
- Ability to work independently after receiving initial instructions and to complete tasks with minimal supervision.
- Apprentice TDLR qualification.
- Boom lift certification.
- Fall protection training and adherence to safety practices.
- Solid understanding of job site safety requirements in a construction environment.

The environment is typical of a construction setting, with varying weather conditions, noise, and coordination with other trades. Standard construction attire, including appropriate personal protective equipment such as hard hats, safety glasses, gloves, and safety footwear, is required at all times.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Commerce, TX.
The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $40.00/hr.
