Aramark is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Electrician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems at a facility in St. Louis, MO.

Qualifications

• Ability to prioritize assignments and work independently or in a team.
• Ability to communicate clearly with supervisors, operations teams, customers, and nontechnical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled electrical maintenance and projects safely, accurately, and on time.
• Read blueprints, schematics and drawings to diagnose equipment issues.
• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and replace wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduit, lighting, and related components.
• Test electrical and electronic equipment for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance.
• Maintain switchgear, transformers, switchboards, meters, regulators, and related equipment.
• Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance to improve reliability and reduce downtime.
• Install and calibrate industrial instrumentation and control devices.
• Identify replacement parts using manuals and electronic resources.
• Document work, findings and parts used in the CMMS or IWMS.
• Engage in continuous improvement and root‑cause analysis for safety and reliability.
• Follow electrical codes, lockout/tagout, PPE requirements, and safety policies.

Aramark Facilities Management is hiring an experienced Industrial Maintenance Electrician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and equipment at a facility in St. Louis, MO. You will support safe, reliable operations across wiring, switchgear, transformers, controls, instrumentation, lighting, and industrial equipment.

This is a hands‑on role for a safety‑focused electrician who can work independently, respond to changing priorities, and help reduce equipment downtime through preventive maintenance and effective troubleshooting.

Job Responsibilities

• Complete scheduled maintenance, work orders, and electrical projects safely, accurately, and on time.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, drawings, and electrical code specifications to determine layouts and diagnose equipment issues.
• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and replace wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduit, feeders, lighting, Ethernet, coaxial cable assemblies, and related electrical components.
• Test electrical and electronic equipment for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance using appropriate diagnostic tools.
• Maintain, repair, install, and test switchgear, transformers, switchboard meters, regulators, reactors, and industrial equipment.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
• Install, maintain, and calibrate industrial instrumentation and related control devices as assigned.
• Research and identify replacement parts using equipment manuals and computerized resources.
• Document completed work, findings, parts used, and follow‑up needs in the computerized maintenance management system.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement and root‑cause analysis efforts that improve safety, reliability, and operational value.
• Follow applicable electrical codes, lockout/tagout procedures, PPE requirements, and all facility safety policies.

Qualifications

Required:

• Demonstrated ability to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial electrical systems and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
• Knowledge of safe electrical work practices, applicable codes, and industry standards.
• Proficiency with electrical testing equipment, hand tools, and power tools.
• Ability to use computer‑based equipment and document work in an IWMS or CMMS.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize assignments and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to communicate clearly with supervisors, operations teams, customers, and nontechnical stakeholders.
• Ability to provide technical guidance to equipment operators and other facility personnel.

Preferred:

• Completion of an electrical apprenticeship program or related technical training.
• Journeyman‑level electrical experience or an applicable local electrical credential.
• Experience with industrial instrumentation, controls, switchgear, transformers, and three‑phase power systems.
• Experience using predictive maintenance techniques and simplified root‑cause analysis.

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective equipment (PPE).
