Job summary

EPCOR USA INC in Arizona is hiring a full-time Electrician I or II to maintain electrical and process control equipment across water facilities. The role involves working at multiple sites in the Central Division, including Surprise.

You will install, troubleshoot, and repair equipment, collaborate with engineers, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance. A four-year apprenticeship and a valid AZ driver’s license are required, with potential for overtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Completion of a recognized four-year apprenticeship program or equivalent training.
• Two years of industrial electrician experience.
• Valid Arizona driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Experience in electrical/process controls within water and wastewater utilities is highly desired.
• Computer proficiency with Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical and process control equipment maintenance at well sites, water plants, pumping stations, and other facilities.
• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, adjust, calibrate, and fabricate a wide variety of electrical and electro-mechanical equipment including generators, motors, relays, switch gears, instrumentation, alarm circuits, and programmable controllers.
• Evaluate part and equipment failures; order parts, materials, and supplies required for electrical and mechanical repairs.
• Interact with contractors and support installation of process control equipment.
• Collaborate with Instrumentation and Controls Engineers on design, review, and implementation of process control systems.
• Ensure operational integrity meets regulatory and company standards for quality, environment, reliability, health, safety, and security.
