Job summary

A leading electrical contracting firm is seeking candidates for Electrical Helper positions in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Successful applicants will assist Journeyman Electricians on commercial and industrial sites, with opportunities for long-term employment and benefits including a 401K. Preferred qualifications include 2+ years of electrical experience and the ability to work with Rigid and EMT conduit. Primary Role

Electrician Helpers work under the supervision and direction of Journeyman Electricians, foreman, and other leadership on the construction project.

Helpers will perform duties as assigned within their assessed skill level, and will have the opportunity to enroll in Amteck’s accredited apprenticeship program to work and study toward achieving Journeyman classification and licensure.

Electrician helpers will also have the opportunity to learn and grow in other divisions of Amteck, like low voltage, controls, process work, and fire alarm along with other skill sets within the electrical trade.

• Experience with running/bending Rigid and EMT conduit
• OSHA 10 preferred but not required
• Experience working alongside a Journeyman Electrician
