A national electrical contracting leader is seeking Electrical Helpers in Grenada, Mississippi. In this role, you will assist Journeyman Electricians and other leaders on construction projects, while learning through an accredited apprenticeship program. Ideal candidates will have 2+ years of electrical experience, skills in conduit running and bending, and a commitment to safety and quality. Qualifications

• OSHA 10 preferred but not required.

Job description

Primary Role

Electrician Helpers work under the supervision and direction of Journeyman Electricians, foreman, and other leadership on the construction project. Helpers will perform duties as assigned within their assessed skill level, and will have the opportunity to enroll in Amteck’s accredited apprenticeship program to work and study toward achieving Journeyman classification and licensure. Electrician helpers will also have the opportunity to learn and grow in other divisions of Amteck, like low voltage, controls, process work, and fire alarm along with other skill sets within the electrical trade.
