Job summary

Assist skilled craftspersons at TIC - The Industrial Company under immediate supervision. You will learn to interpret drawings, cut and install electrical conduit, and support testing of systems while using a range of hand and power tools.

Expect variable hours, outdoor work on a construction site, and adherence to safety and project rules. A high school diploma or equivalent is often required, with basic communication skills and the ability to follow instructions being essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions.
• Field experience in chosen craft discipline is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Learn to interpret drawings, sketches, software, plans and determine best work procedures.
• Assist skilled craftsman measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble and install electrical conduit; weld supports.
• Assist with the installation of control and distribution apparatus and fastens.
• Assist with testing and startup of systems and continuity of circuits to ensure safety.
