Job summary

IMCBA is seeking an electrician responsible for preventive maintenance, repair, and alterations of electrical systems across Building Authority properties. Duties include lighting, generators, motors, pumps, door systems, and more, with NEC compliance and blueprint reading.

The role requires a high school diploma, 3+ years’ experience, a valid Indiana driver’s license, and the ability to work independently and with a team in a varied environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in preventative maintenance, repair and installation of electrical systems.
• Valid Indiana Driver’s License.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule and with others.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repair of electrical equipment.
• Maintain lighting, generators, motors, pumps, door and kitchen systems.
• Install communication cables, switches, conduits, and wiring.
• Read blueprints; apply NEC guidelines; layout alterations with supervisor.
• Assist in maintaining safety compliance and factory-wide electrical work.
