Job summary

Atlantic Constructors, Inc. is seeking a licensed electrical mechanic to install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures across multiple sites in the Mid-Atlantic region. You will ensure compliance with relevant codes and safety standards.

The role requires 2-5 years of electrical experience, ability to read blueprints/NEC, and willingness to report to multiple job sites. We offer comprehensive benefits and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in electrical field or equivalent training
• Ability to follow electrical code manuals to install and repair electrical systems
• Must be able to multi-task, work with minimal supervision, follow written and oral instructions, show attention to detail and demonstrate problem-solving skills
• Must be able to pass post-offer pre-employment drug screen, and may be required to satisfactorily complete additional background checks as required (i.e. DMV, criminal history)
• Must adhere to all company policy and procedures
• Must be available to report to multiple job sites as assigned

Responsibilities

• Tests electrical systems and continuity of circuits using testing devices to ensure safety and compatibility
• Assembles, installs, tests, and maintains wiring, equipment, appliances, and fixtures with hand and power tools
• Works from ladders, scaffolds, and roofs to install, maintain or repair electrical wiring and fixtures
• Interprets blueprints, NEC, and specifications
• Connects wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components
• Performs other duties as assigned
