Mativ Holdings, Inc. is seeking an Electrician-E&I Journeyman to support its Whiting, WI operations. The role focuses on maintaining, wiring, and troubleshooting electrical systems across paper machinery, roll wrap, and related equipment, with an emphasis on reliability and safety.

Starting Pay : $43.16/hour. Per CBA language, work performed on Sundays and contractual holidays is paid at double time.
Schedule :Primary scheduleis daytime hours, with weekend workrequiredon a rotating basis. The Journeyman may be called in off shift whenrequired.Thisposition also includesholidays and overtime.
Vacation :Minimum of 2 weeks after one year of service, withpotential foradditionalcredit offered for time spent in the trade.
TheProcessMaintenance - E&I Journeyman will support mill assetsthatinclude paper machines, folios, embossers, roll wrap andcutsize, as well as shared systems that are used to support multiple assets.The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude andinitiative.
Ensure that manufacturing and converting processes aremaintainedin a preventative fashion to ensureoptimumreliability and up time.
Conduct preventative and corrective maintenance of equipment and troubleshoot problems while applying theory and related knowledge to install, rebuild, or repair equipment as needed.
Assistwith all service calls while on duty and take call ins as necessary to ensure production operation.
Ensure all required tools, parts and supplies are available for each job performed, complete required service records andbe responsible forrecommending and/orinitiatingequipment modifications and/or replacement of components.
General electrical systems and controls (motor starters, lighting circuits, power distribution equipment, industrial controls)
Programmable Logic Controllers (Rockwell Control Logix)
Variable speed AC & DC drives and motors
Process instrumentation and control (transmitters, control valves, controlloopsand DCS)
Process variable monitoring and control (temperature, pressure, flow, PH, etc.)
Analytical process troubleshooting including electrical print reading and using troubleshooting manuals
Ability to wear required personal protective equipment
Ability to bend, kneel, squat and stoop
Ability to read and understand instructions, procedures, and equipment training manuals
Ability to accurately read and record data
Ability to climb stairs and work from steps, ladders, scaffolds, mobileliftsand elevator platforms
Ability tooperate/use manual and powered material handling equipment such as a pickup truck, hand dolly, chain fall, chain hoist, electric hoist, tractor,truckand heavy equipment as needed
Ability to work in extreme temperatures when necessary
Ability to work in confined spaces when necessary
Journeyman card and/or state license
Possess technical/problem solving skills
Contributeina team environment to meet our business objectives
Abilityto pass pre-employment physical capabilities test, pre-employment drug/alcoholscreeninganda backgroundcheck.
Four years of experience
Advanced electrical/ instrumentation education and experience in an industrial environment.
This positionoperatesin a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures, dust, odors, and potential exposure to mechanical, electrical, and chemical hazards.
Employees must wearrequiredPPE (e.g., safety shoes, glasses, hearing protection, gloves, bump caps).
Lifting upto 50lbs, pushingup to 108lbs, pulling up to 60 lbs.
Working extended shifts (up to 16 hours)
