The Simplot Company is seeking a Journeyman Electrician for our GF Plant in Ontario, Oregon. The role covers installing power wiring and controls, reading blueprints, diagnosing electrical and instrumentation issues, and ensuring NEC safety standards on site.
Night shifts run 6pm–6am with differential pay and overtime after 10 hours. Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED and 3+ years of related experience, with PLC familiarity and ability to interpret electrical drawings.

This job ensures efficient operation of all electrical systems and electrical/electronic components on site. The individual in this job will be required to fully understand the purpose and operation of the electrical systems, electronic equipment and instrumentation throughout the plant and have the ability to make decisions based on sound judgement when a situation dictates.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Journeyman Electrician License from the State of Oregonora State with reciprocity such as,Idaho, Utah, Maine, Montana, Arkansas, Washington or Wyoming.
Schedule:Nights (6pm - 6am)"Pitman Shift" Schedule
Other:Overtime is paid after 10 hours worked each day. Nightshift will receive an added differential pay on top of base rate.
