Job description

  • Work from Schematics, diagrams, Bill of Materials, and instructions to wire balers and related components including Auto Tiers, MCC, CC, etc. with some supervision.
  • Use pipe threading and bending equipment, amp probe/meter, wire cutters, wrenches, voltmeter, tape measure and a variety of other job-related tools.
  • Must be familiar with and trained to work with voltages of 24VDC - 600 VAC. Wire motors, transformers, disconnects, valves, relays, and other related parts.
  • Monitor and keep management apprised of shortages, quality issues, and other roadblocks that may interfere with timely completion of production requirements.
  • Maintain accurate accounting of your time and production records using EPICOR terminals or other methods as defined by management.
  • Must be able to efficiently work on projects with some supervision on a daily basis.
  • Effectively communicate with supervision and other employees to establish and maintain proper flow of parts and information to and from your department.
  • When necessary, work with your group leader, supervisor, and engineer to assure BOM and schematic accuracy.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by group leader or supervision.
