Valero is seeking an Electrician for our Port Arthur refinery. You will repair, maintain, and install electrical systems following safety procedures and codes. On-site work, overtime eligible as hourly nonexempt.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and at least 2 years of electrical experience or a technical degree. On-site work is required at US-TX-Port Arthur, with comprehensive benefits and a focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• A minimum of 2 years electrical experience as an Electrician or a technical degree in an electrical field is required.
• Able and willing to work on-site and in-person, required.

Responsibilities

• Repairs, maintains, and installs electrical systems and equipment following all safety procedures, electrical codes, manuals, schematic drawings, diagrams, and blueprints.
• Demonstrates knowledge of basic grounding and shielding, electricity, and electrical wiring and raceway systems.
• Uses basic electrical meters and equipment to test equipment.
• Maintains and repairs various types of electrical components.
• Performs work activities in a safe and environmentally sound manner.
• This position is hourly nonexempt status, which means you are eligible for overtime pay.
