Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• Must complete 2,000 hours of on the job training each year of apprenticeship.
• Must enroll and attend the apprenticeship school and maintain a minimum passing grade of 70.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist skilled trades and perform apprentice craft work for construction, maintenance, and repair of facilities systems, buildings and equipment.
• Install and repair wiring, fixtures, and equipment; measure, cut, bend and install conduit.
• Work under the direct supervision of a licensed electrician.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues using testing equipment.
• Test electrical equipment for safety and efficiency.
• Review and maintain compliance with safety requirements, material handling and organization.
• Maintain a clean and safe work and storage area.
• Performs other duties as required.
