Duro Electric is seeking an Apprentice Electrician to complete a 4-year apprenticeship in the Denver area. The program includes 288 electrical instruction hours and 8,000 on‑the‑job hours, under Journeyman supervision, progressing toward a Journeyman license.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, be willing to travel, and commit to safety practices and school requirements. The role involves physical labor, hands-on wiring, and site installations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or 1 year construction experience or pre-apprenticeship completion.
• Must be able to travel to sites within assigned territory and follow site leaders.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety rules on the job site and while operating company vehicles.
• Reviews sketches or blueprints to ensure proper wiring and installation.
• Measures, cuts, and installs electrical conduit with appropriate tools.
• Tests continuity of circuits for safety and compatibility.
• Installs control and distribution equipment and connects wiring.
• Attend and pass electrical trade school until 288 educational hours are met.
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment.
• Assist in repair of faulty equipment and systems.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
