Job summary

Bergelectric Corp. in Santa Fe, NM is seeking an Electrician Apprentice to support licensed Electricians in installing and repairing electrical systems across commercial, industrial, institutional and residential projects.

Under supervision, you will read blueprints, use tools, and assist with wiring, conduit work and testing. This safety sensitive role requires adherence to codes and Bergelectric policies and you will gain hands-on experience on diverse projects.

Qualifications

• Enrolled or currently in an approved Apprentice program.
• Knowledge of electrical theory, basic circuits, and safety practices.
• Ability to read single-line electrical blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation, repair, maintenance and testing of electrical systems.
• Use hand and power tools under supervision.
• Assist with wiring, conduit installation and terminations.
• Coordinate with foremen and crew, maintain safety and workflow.
