Bopat Electric is hiring Apprentice Electricians to support commercial electrical construction projects in New York. You will learn on the job, assist electricians and foremen, and gain hands-on experience in electrical installations, conduit, wiring, lighting, and safety procedures.

This entry-level role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to start a long-term career in the electrical trade, with on-site training, mentorship from experienced electricians, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn the electrical trade with on-site mentorship.
• Previous construction, electrical, mechanical, or trade experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical duties.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist electricians and foremen with commercial electrical installations and job site activities.
• Help install conduit, wiring, boxes, switches, lighting, and other electrical components.
• Load, unload, organize, and maintain tools, materials, and equipment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Work closely with experienced electricians while developing electrical knowledge and trade skills.
