Job summary

Interstates in Topeka, KS is seeking an Experienced Electrical Apprentice to support on-site electrical fabrication and installation tasks. This full-time role requires 2+ years of electrical field experience, preferably in commercial or industrial settings, with a path toward licensing through the DOL-approved Apprenticeship Program.

The incumbent will help assemble prefabricated electrical packages, install conduits, and support journeyman/foreman electricians on site.

Qualifications

• We are looking for candidates interested in becoming licensed through our DOL approved Electrical Apprenticeship Program.
• Candidates MUST have a degree in electrical technology, electrical construction, instrumentation or similar or equivalent experience.
• 2 plus years of experience in the electrical field (preferred Commercial or Industrial).

Responsibilities

• The Electrical Apprentice will be responsible for the quality and timely completion of prefabricated electrical/metal assemblies, skid packages, modular assemblies, control panels, motor control panels, or other similar assemblies.
