ANCO Electrical, a fully licensed commercial electrical contractor, seeks an Apprentice Electrician to join our team. This entry‑level role offers hands‑on experience under supervision, working on power cable installations, generator setups, DC battery systems, and more across diverse projects.

You’ll read blueprints, follow safety regulations, and participate in apprenticeship coursework while building skills for licensure and a long-term career in electrical trades.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; enrollment in an electrical apprenticeship program preferred.
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems and tools is helpful but not required.
• Willingness to travel to different project sites and work in various environments.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.
• Support power cable installation, terminations, and generator system setups.
• Help with DC battery and power plant installations.
• Work on medium voltage and power distribution systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Adhere to all safety regulations, electrical codes, and company guidelines.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and materials in good working condition.
• Participate in on‑the‑job training and required coursework for licensure.
• Travel to different project sites as needed.

Position Overview

We are looking for a motivated Apprentice Electrician to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for someone eager to develop hands‑on skills, gain industry experience, and work alongside experienced electricians on a variety of electrical systems. The apprentice will assist with electrical installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting under the supervision of journeyman and master electricians.

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to obtain Class A CDL

• Willingness to travel for projects across the U.S.
