Job summary

Seneca Foods Corporation in Wisconsin is seeking an Electrician to manage all electrical maintenance for the plant location in Clyman. The role involves troubleshooting, planning installations, and ensuring compliance with electrical codes and OSHA standards.

You will interact with multiple departments, maintain safe work practices, and contribute to continuous improvement of electrical systems and plant operations.

Qualifications

• Experience troubleshooting electrical equipment in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to interpret layout and construction diagrams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Electrical maintenance and construction experience in a plant setting.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and complete all electrical work phases.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment throughout the plant.
• Consult with supervision on needed repairs.
• Stay current on electrical codes and OSHA regulations.
• Plan new or modified installations to minimize waste and avoid hazards.
• Maintain housekeeping and observe safety and GMP policies.

Full responsibility for the completion of all electrical maintenance activities for the location. Effectively interact with all functional areas of the business as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and complete all phases that require electrical work.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment throughout the plant.
• Consult with supervisionon needed repairs.
• Stay current on electrical codes and OSHA regulations.
• Plannew or modified installations to minimize waste of materials and avoid hazardous and unreliable wiring.
• Responsible for housekeeping of the general work area.
• Observe all Company work, safety and GMP policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.
