Job summary

TradeWorX is recruiting experienced journeyman-level and apprentice electricians for current and upcoming projects throughout Pittsburgh, PA and surrounding areas. Pay up to $32/hour based on experience and assignment requirements.

Opportunities are full-time on electrical construction, with diverse duties from rough-in to wiring, conduit installation, and device connections. Overtime may be available, and schedules vary by project.

Qualifications

• Journeyman-Level electricians with proven construction experience.
• Apprentice-Level electricians with hands-on electrical experience.
• Ability to independently install conduit, wiring, devices, and electrical systems.
• Experience reading electrical drawings and performing terminations.

Responsibilities

• Commercial electrical rough-in, including boxes, brackets, and hangers.
• Bending and installing conduit, including EMT.
• Pulling wire and installing cable tray.
• Installing receptacles, switches, lighting, and electrical devices.
• Reading drawings and following NEC requirements.
• Testing circuits and troubleshooting electrical issues.

Job Duties

• Commercial electrical rough-in, boxes, brackets, and hangers.

Requirements

• Journeyman-Level Electricians
• Previous electrical construction experience.
• Ability to independently install conduit, wiring, devices, and electrical systems.
• Experience reading electrical drawings, completing terminations, and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of applicable electrical codes and safe work practices.
• Apprentice-Level Electricians
• Previous hands‑on electrical experience.
• Familiarity with rough-in, conduit, wire pulling, or device installation.
• Ability to safely use electrical hand and power tools.
• Willingness to learn and work under appropriate supervision.
