This role focuses on installing and servicing commercial electrical systems, reading blueprints, and supporting low-voltage networks.

Qualifications

• Commercial electrical experience required.
• Experience installing Lutron lighting systems preferred.
• Knowledge of NEC codes and standards.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Must wear all PPE and adhere to safety rules.
• Reliable, safety-conscious, able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with relocating existing electrical outlets, switches, and lighting
• Install new Lutron lighting systems
• Install and bend EMT and rigid conduit
• Install electrical devices, panels, and fixtures
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings
• Install and support low-voltage systems, including data, fire alarm, and security systems
• Troubleshoot electrical systems and components
• Ensure all work complies with NEC standards and project requirements
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Electricians for projects located in or around Washington, DC. This is a first shift opportunity with a prevailing wage of $43.49/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:

• Assist with relocating existing electrical outlets, switches, and lighting
• Install new Lutron lighting systems
• Install and bend EMT and rigid conduit

Requirements:

• Previous commercial electrical experience
• Experience installing Lutron lighting systems preferred
• Knowledge of NEC codes and electrical standards
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
• All required PPE must be worn
• Must be reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently or as part of a team
