Qualifications

• Know how to use basic hand tools (drills, saws, rulers, wire cutters, wire strippers, etc.).
• Must have good communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Team player able to work closely with other personnel.
• Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment or fixtures, based on job specifications and local codes.
• Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers or other components.
• Work from ladders, scaffolds or manlift to install, maintain or repair electrical wiring, equipment or fixtures.
• Cut, bend, and thread conduit, route onto fabricated piping skidded systems or install into container boxes and pull insulated wires or cables through the conduit to complete circuits between boxes.
• Repair or replace wiring, equipment or fixtures using hand tools and power tools.
• Install ground leads and connect power cables to equipment, such as motors.
• Assemble, install, test or maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment appliances, apparatus or fixtures, using hand tools and power tools.
