Job summary

Venture Solar, LLC is seeking a DE & MD licensed electrician to join our team for solar installations and maintenance. You will execute wiring plans for PV systems, install fixtures, and connect wiring across residential or commercial projects while following safety guidelines.

The role requires a valid DE and MD license, willingness to drive to the Wilmington, DE warehouse every morning, and the ability to work long shifts with paid overtime. Competitive hourly pay with benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• Valid Electrical license in the states of DE and MD.
• Must be willing to drive to the Wilmington, DE warehouse every morning.
• Experience as an electrician with solar required.
• Experience in residential or commercial electrical systems preferred.
• Demonstrable ability to use electrical and hand tools and read drawings/blueprints.
• Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and regulations.

Responsibilities

Venture Solar is hiring a DE & MD Licensed Electrician.

As a Licensed Electrician in the state of DE & MD, you will be responsible for:

• Executing plans of electrical wiring for well-functioning PV solar systems
• Installing electrical apparatus, fixtures, and equipment
• Connect wiring in electrical circuits and networks ensuring compatibility of components
• Prepare and assemble conduits and connect wiring through them
• Perform effective troubleshooting to identify hazards or malfunctions and repair damaged unit s

What you’ll bring:

• Valid Electrical license in the state of DE and MD
• Must be willing to drive to the Wilmington, DE warehouse every morning
• Experience as an electrician with solar required
• Experience in residential or commercial electrical systems preferred
• Demonstrable ability to use electrical and hand tools (e.g. wire strippers, voltmeter, etc.) and electrical drawings and blueprints
• Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability
• Excellent physical condition and flexibility to work long shifts with paid overtime
• A valid driver's license is required
• Can work well independently and as part of a team

Physical Demands:

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to climb ladders and work on pitched residential roofs
• Ability to work in attics

Full time work 40+ hours, overtime pay for over 40 hours in 1 week.

This is a full-time, benefits-eligible role.

$40- $45 per hour. (Compensation rate based on experience)
