Responsibilities

• Responsible for using the storeroom system to locate spare parts and inputting work order requests into the CMMS.
• Operate plant mobile equipment and troubleshoot motors, transformers, electrical drives, starters, breakers, disconnects, electrical interlocks, temperature and pressure transmitters, and similar devices.
• Troubleshoot and repair instrumentation and electronic circuits, use PLC and PC programs, read blueprints and schematic designs, and select and use proper tools and measuring devices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution is required.
• Familiarity with the following is preferred: cement process flow and equipment functions; electrical, mechanical, and plant safety rules; computer hardware; safe rigging techniques; plant power distribution; and AC/DC circuits.
• Successful candidate must work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Requires qualification received from either an approved Electrical Training Program or other institution.
• Candidate must take and pass a written Electrical and PLC test.
