Responsibilities

• Install standby home generators (wiring, transfer switches, load management).
• Perform EV charger installations (Level 2 and commercial-grade units) with circuit and panel upgrades.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues related to generators, EV chargers, and power distribution systems.
• Ensure NEC compliance, local regulations, and manufacturer specifications.
• Collaborate with team members and project managers to complete jobs safely and efficiently.
• Maintain clean worksites and provide excellent customer service.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in residential electrical systems, with a focus on standby home generator installations, wiring, and EV charging station setups.

Requirements

• Minimum 1+ years of experience in generator installations (required).
• Experience with EV charger installations (residential and/or commercial).
• 2+ years experience working with or installing electrical panels, wiring, and transfer switches.
• Willing to work overtime.
• Clean driving record and reliable transportation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Install standby home generators (including wiring, transfer switches, and load management).
• Perform EV charger installations (Level 2 and commercial-grade units) with proper circuit and panel upgrades.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues related to generators, EV chargers, and power distribution systems.
• Ensure compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code), local regulations, and manufacturer specifications.
• Collaborate with team members and project managers to complete jobs efficiently and safely.
• Maintain clean worksites and provide excellent customer service.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications from generator manufacturers (Generac).
• Experience with smart home electrical systems and battery backups.
• Familiarity with solar and renewable energy systems is a plus.
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
