You will work on commercial and industrial sites, reading blueprints, using testing devices, and ensuring safety standards.

This mid-level role requires at least two years in the field, proficiency with electrical tools, and the stamina for long shifts.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Electrician with at least 2 years.
• Experience in commercial and industrial electrical systems.
• Proficient with electrical tools and reading blueprints.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and guidelines.
• Ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
• Inspect transformers, circuit breakers, and other components.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues with testing devices.
• Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures.
• Read blueprints and technical diagrams; follow NEC and local codes.

Job Details

We have an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Electrician to join our dynamic team in the construction industry. This is a role that will see you working on a variety of projects, from commercial to industrial. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems. You will also work with various electrical equipment, outlet boxes, wiring devices, and lighting fixtures. This role is ideal for someone who is skilled in measuring, cutting, bending, and installing electrical systems.

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
• Inspect transformers and circuit breakers and other electrical components.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
• Repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring, or fixtures.
• Follow National Electrical Code state and local building regulations.
• Read blueprints or technical diagrams.
• Install and maintain wiring, control, and lighting systems.
• Inspect electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers.
• Identify electrical problems using a variety of testing devices.
• Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures using hand tools and power tools.
• Direct and train workers to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring or equipment.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Electrician with a minimum of 2 years in the field.
• Experience in commercial and industrial electrical systems.
• Demonstrable ability to use electrical and hand tools (e.g., wire strippers, voltmeter, etc.) and electrical drawings and blueprints.
• Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines.
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
• Excellent physical condition and flexibility to work long shifts and overnight.
• Diploma in relevant vocational training or successfully completed an apprenticeship as an electrician.
• Valid license to practice the profession.
• Proficient in the use of test meters and other related equipment for diagnosing problems in electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Able to perform physically demanding tasks, such as lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and work in tight spaces.
