Job summary

Demonstrate ownership of equipment systems serviced and pride in quality work. · Install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, maintain or alter electrical services, equipment and controls, using approved and properly sized wire, conduit, raceways and equipment.· Work with high and low voltage systems, including transformers, high voltage primary feed and secondary transformers.· Work with facilities and research electrical systems including VFDs, UPSs/lighting inverters, ATSs and emergency generators, lighting systems, gas detection systems, motors, etc.· Work from CAD drawings, prints, schematics, sketches or verbal instructions.· Install static grounding circuits.· Operate efficiently, all hand/power tools, test instruments and equipment normally used by this trade and maintain/return in good condition.· Demonstrate ownership of workplace safety/site safety culture by adhering to all safety rules/regulations and reporting to supervisor any equipment in need of repair or any unsafe situations or conditions.· Maintain work area and equipment in a safe, efficient and clean operating condition.· Assist in performing other duties, including work of other trades as required.**Shift:** Day shift (7 am -3:45 pm) or 2nd shift (3:00 pm – 11:45 pm), determined by position availability after polling.**Education Minimum Requirement:**High School graduate or equivalent.
