Job summary

Qualifications

• 3 years experience as an electrician maintaining heavy industrial machinery.
• Graduate of an approved apprentice program or graduate from a 2-year technical associates degree program.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Hiring process will include hands-on testing.

Responsibilities

• Maintain heavy industrial machinery and related controls.
• Work with AC-DC motors, metering and power distribution.
• Follow safety procedures and LEAN/5S practices.
• Willingness to work full shifts and overtime as needed.
• Able to work off-shift as required.

What you will work on:

• Maintain heavy industrial machinery with a working knowledge of AC-DC motors and controls, combustion, metering, air conditioning, power distribution, electronics process control computers, welding, conduit and schematics.
• Continuous Improvement – we couldn’t do it without your owner’s mindset, and all of the acronyms that come with continuous improvement, 5S, RCA and LEAN.
• Safety First – our values are important to us. Having a “safety first” approach is a key element for success.
• The ability to work a full shift, promptness and availability to work overtime as needed.

What you’ll bring:

• 3 years’ experience as an electrician maintaining heavy industrial machinery or graduate of an approved apprentice program or graduate from 2-year technical associates degree program.
