Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Plant Electrician to support Otsego, MI operations, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical and mechanical systems in a manufacturing environment. The role is based at the Otsego shop with responsibility to support CER sites as needed.

You will plan jobs, document installations, and uphold Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) standards while contributing to reliable production and site performance.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Amrize, a leading supplier of quality, construction building materials in the United States, has immediate openings for a Plant Electrician to support operations at our Otsego, MI Quarry. This position will be responsible for the diagnosis, repair and maintenance of a wide variety of fixed electrical equipment, mechanical equipment, systems and machinery. Also to maintain, install and repair mechanical equipment and machinery. This position is based out of the Otsego, MI shop and supports all CER sites, including Dundee, Manchester, Battle Creek, Wayland, Edwardsburg, and Kalamazoo.

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH

• Safely perform simple to complex electrical repairs and installs within a manufacturing setting
• Understand and comply with Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) policies to assure that environment, health and safety are the first priority of the business. Actively support key safety initiatives at the facility and assist the department as needed to improve EHS performance and results.
• Responsible for planning jobs.
• Documents new and existing electrical installations.
• Responsible for mechanical and electrical design and installation.
• Repairs critical equipment with available parts.
• Installs, repairs and performs preventative maintenance on all electrical equipment
• Must be able to work within a team environment as well as independently.
• Must be able to communicate to multiple levels within the organization Results/Accountabilities:
