Job summary

Trillium Construction is seeking Journeyman Industrial Electricians for ongoing maintenance work in the Lakeland, FL area. Pay rate is $31–$33/hour with Monday–Friday schedules, typically 7AM–3:30PM or 7AM–5:30PM.

Workers will travel to manufacturing, utility, mining, and other industrial facilities to perform electrical maintenance and installation tasks. This is a steady opportunity with 40–48 hours per week and possible variations by project.

Qualifications

• Journeyman-level industrial electrical experience required.
• Strong experience with industrial electrical systems and equipment.
• Experience installing rigid conduit and cable tray.
• Experience performing electrical terminations.
• Experience with MCCs, switchgear, transformers, and electrical panels.
• Ability to work safely in industrial environments.
• Prior experience operating forklifts, Lulls, scissor lifts, or similar equipment is preferred.
• OSHA 10 preferred, but not required.
• Must wear required PPE and safety gear.
• No residential wiring experience will substitute industrial experience.

Responsibilities

• Install, remove, and maintain electrical distribution equipment.
• Work with MCCs, switchgear, transformers, electrical panels.
• Perform industrial electrical maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Follow all jobsite safety requirements and procedures.
• Safely operate equipment such as forklifts, scissor lifts, and Lulls when required.
• Travel to customer locations as directed by project managers.

Electricians will travel to various customer locations, including manufacturing, utility, mining, and other industrial facilities, to perform electrical maintenance and installation work.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced industrial electrician looking for steady Monday–Friday work with the potential for 40–48 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• -Perform electrical terminations


• -Install, remove, and maintain electrical distribution equipment


• -Work with MCCs, switchgear, transformers, electrical panels, and related equipment


• -Perform industrial electrical maintenance and troubleshooting

• -Safely operate equipment such as forklifts, scissor lifts, and Lulls when required


• -Travel to customer locations as directed by project managers

Work is generally Monday–Friday, 7AM–3:30PMor 7AM-5:30PM, although schedules may vary depending on the customer project. Electricians may be required to drive to different customer locations each day.

Most jobs will be local to the assigned area, but out-of-town or overnight projects may occasionally be available and will be discussed before assignment.

Requirements

• -Journeyman-level industrial electrical experience required

• -Must wear required PPE: hard hat, safety glasses, ear plugs, gloves, and steel-toe boots


• -No commercial or residential electrical experience will be considered in place of industrial experience
