Qualifications

  • Minimum five years of hands-on low voltage electrical experience.
  • Valid low voltage license or certification.
  • Experience with HVAC systems, maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Strong problem-solving, attention to detail and safety awareness.

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions; identify root causes.

  • Collaborate with team members and contractors to meet schedules.
  • Stay updated on industry practices and safety protocols.

We are excited to announce a fantastic opportunity at the newly constructed electric vehicle battery manufacturing plant. This is a performance-based, 12-year, O&M contract providing hard services of low voltage electrical equipment within the facility, excluding the manufacturing and production equipment. The objective is to maintain a seamless environment by assuring that equipment is performing to specifications to facilitate uninterrupted manufacturing and administrative functions.

What you will do:

We are looking for a skilled low voltage electrician who has worked in commercial, industrial, and/or institutional markets to join our team. The electrician must be a skilled craftsman in their trade, and we prefer a minimum of five (5) years actual, practical working experience in low voltage electrical work. You may be required to pass a satisfactory examination as to your special skill.

Responsibilities:
  • Install, maintain, and repair low voltage electrical systems in accordance with building codes and manufacturer specifications.
  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on low voltage electrical equipment to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot low voltage electrical system malfunctions, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
  • Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems using hand and power tools.
  • Conduct performance tests and adjustments on low voltage electrical systems to meet specified requirements.
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, including parts used, labor hours, and work performed.
  • Collaborate with other team members and contractors to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Stay updated on industry advancements, regulations, and best practices through ongoing training and professional development.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and company policies and procedures at all times.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client concerns and resolving issues professionally.
Preferred Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid low voltage electrical license or certification.
  • Proven experience as a low voltage electrician or in a similar role.
  • Experience with HVAC systems, including maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Flexibility to work on-call or during emergencies, as required.

HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $35-45 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) This position includes a competitive benefits package. The posted salary range reflects the target compensation for this role.
