Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking a skilled Electrician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems across our commercial facilities in Houston, TX. The role requires a State Electrician License, 5+ years of experience, and proficiency with NEC standards.

You will read blueprints, perform preventive maintenance, and respond to electrical emergencies, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in commercial and industrial environments and possess strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety regulations, and preventive maintenance practices. ## Responsibilities* Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, controls, lighting, power distribution equipment, and related components.* Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform corrective repairs on electrical equipment and systems.* Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.* Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on electrical systems.* Install and maintain motors, motor controls, variable frequency drives (VFDs), panels, transformers, and switchgear.* Respond to electrical emergencies and equipment failures.* Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes.* Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records.* Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and facility personnel on electrical projects.* Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA regulations.* Support facility improvement and energy-efficiency project.* Fire Extinguisher inspection* Shift Sunday-Wednesday 7:30pm-6:00am (Rotate Quarterly) ## Qualifications ### Required* Current State Electrician License.* High school diploma or GED.* Minimum 5 years of commercial or industrial electrical experience.* Strong knowledge of NEC (National Electrical Code).* Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems up to 480V.* Ability to read electrical drawings and specifications.* Valid driver's license. ### Preferred* Experience with building automation systems (BAS).* Experience with generators, UPS systems, and emergency power systems.* Knowledge of HVAC electrical controls.* OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.* Experience working in laboratory, healthcare, manufacturing, or commercial facilities. ## Physical Requirements* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.* Ability to work on ladders, lifts, rooftops, and in mechanical spaces.* Ability to stand, walk, bend, and climb for extended periods.* Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. ## Compensation & Benefits* Competitive salary based on experience.* Health, dental, and vision insurance.* Paid time off and holidays.* 401(k)* Opportunities for overtime and career advancement.This position does not provide visa sponsorship.
