The ideal candidate will be familiar with MD and PA electrical codes, safety regulations, and able to troubleshoot effectively on diverse projects.

This full-time role requires 2+ years of experience, a valid license or certification as required by local regulations, and the ability to read blueprints and schematics

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school certification preferred.
• Valid electrician license or certification where required by local regulations.
• 2+ years of experience as an electrician.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, wiring, and safety procedures.
• Ability to read technical documents and schematics.
• Good critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in buildings.
• Read and interpret blueprints, circuit diagrams, and technical drawings.
• Inspect electrical systems, components, and equipment for hazards and defects.
• Ensure compliance with local and national electrical codes.
• Use hand and power tools to install and service electrical systems.
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems and components using testing equipment.

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential, commercial, or industrial environments. You must be knowledgeable in MD and PA electrical codes, safety regulations, and able to troubleshoot issues effectively.

$31-$41 per hour depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in buildings
• Read and interpret blueprints, circuit diagrams, and technical drawings
• Inspect electrical systems, components, and equipment to identify hazards, defects, or needed repairs
• Ensure compliance with local and national electrical codes
• Use hand and power tools to install and service electrical systems
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems and components using testing equipment
• Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components
• Follow safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
• Collaborate with contractors and other construction professionals on projects

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school certification preferred
• Valid electrician license or certification (as required by local regulations)
• Proven experience as an electrician (typically 2+ years)
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, wiring, and safety procedures
• Ability to read technical documents and schematics

• Physical stamina and ability to work in a variety of environments
• Valid driver’s license (if travel to job sites is required)

Preferred Qualifications
