As an Interior Electrician, you'll install, maintain, and safely distribute electricity, the driving force behind today’s Army. You’ll work on interior electrical systems, including transformers, circuit breakers, electrical boxes, and lightning rods. You'll test equipment and fix any short circuits in wires and faulty equipment, and you'll learn to read blueprints and wire plans to determine layouts and repair. Must be a US citizen or an I-551 cardholder.
Total compensation includes housing, medical, food, special pay, and vacation time.
You could earn up to $40,000 in cash bonuses just for enlisting under certain Military Occupational Specialties.
In the Army, qualified students can earn full-tuition, merit-based scholarships, allowances for books and fees, plus an annual stipend for living expenses.
