Job summary

Riot Platforms, Inc. is seeking a skilled Electrician to support our growth at the Corsicana, TX site. The role operates on a 12-hour rotating schedule of 4 days on, 4 days off, onsite at our mining facility.

You will maintain electrical systems, inspect components, read blueprints, troubleshoot issues, and uphold strict safety standards to ensure reliable operations. The successful candidate will hold a valid electrician's license, have completed an apprenticeship, and possess a high school

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid electrician's license per local and state regulations.
• Completion of an electrician apprenticeship program.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain electrical systems, wiring, and equipment per local and national electrical codes.
• Inspect components, identify issues, and perform repairs or replacements.
• Read blueprints and specifications to determine wiring layouts and systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical problems to minimize downtime.
• Adhere to safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Identify and mitigate electrical hazards according to best practices and regulations.
• Perform upgrades and modifications to existing systems to meet changing needs.
• Collaborate with contractors and engineers to plan and complete projects.
• Communicate with other departments to understand electrical needs and provide solutions.
• Educate teammates on proper use and maintenance of systems.
• Maintain records of work performed, including repairs and inspections.

About this role

Riot Platforms, Inc. is at the forefront of the bitcoin revolution, operating one of the most advanced Bitcoin mining facilities in the industry. We are looking for a skilled Electrician to support our growth and maintain the highest standards of electrical efficiency and safety in our bitcoin mining operations. This position is based onsite at our Corsicana, TX location and follows a 12-hour rotating schedule of 4 days on, followed by 4 days off .

What you’ll be doing

• Install and maintain electrical systems, wiring, and equipment in accordance with local and national electrical codes
• Inspect electrical components, identify issues, and perform repairs or replacements as needed
• Interpret and work from technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine the layout of electrical wiring, circuits, and systems
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical problems, ensuring the timely and accurate resolution of issues to minimize downtime
• Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment
• Identify and mitigate electrical hazards, following industry best practices and regulations
• Perform upgrades and modifications to existing electrical systems to meet changing needs or improve efficiency
• Collaborate with other construction professionals, including contractors and engineers, to plan and complete projects
• Communicateeffectivelywith other departments to understand their electrical needs and provide solutions
• Educate team members on the properuseand maintenance of electrical systems
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, including documentation of repairs, installations, and inspections

What you’ll have

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Possession of a valid electrician's license, in accordance with local and state regulations.
• Completion of a recognized electrician apprenticeship program.

Physicalrequirementsand work environment

• Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods
• Ability to lift and move equipment as needed (50 pounds)
• Ability to workonsitein amining ordata center environment (heat, noise, etc.)
• Exposure to high noise levels and varying temperatures

Safety Requirements

• PPE & Compliance: Strictly adhere to all site safety protocols and wearrequired Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times(e.g., safety glasses, hearing protection, steel-toed boots).
• Hazard Awareness: Proactively identify, report, and mitigate potential workplace hazards or unsafe conditions.
• Standards: Maintain compliance with OSHA regulations and internal safety training.
• Organization: Keep all work areas clean and free of obstructions to prevent workplace accidents.
