Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Electrician role based in Caguas. The Electrician will install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in industrial settings, following project plans and safety standards. Daily responsibilities include performing inspections, diagnosing electrical issues, troubleshooting faults, and completing corrective repairs to minimize downtime. The role involves reading and interpreting electrical diagrams, coordinating with project managers and other trades, and documenting work performed. The Electrician will also assist with preventive maintenance schedules, ensure compliance with applicable codes and regulations, and support continuous improvement of electrical reliability and safety on site.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Electricity and/or Electrical Engineering, with the ability to apply technical concepts in industrial environments.
  • Practical experience in Electrical Work, including installation, wiring, and commissioning of electrical systems and equipment.
  • Skills in Maintenance & Repair for electrical infrastructure, with a focus on preventive and corrective maintenance.
  • Proficient Troubleshooting abilities to diagnose and resolve electrical issues accurately and safely.
  • Relevant technical certification or license as an Electrician; vocational or technical training in electrical fields preferred.
  • Knowledge of local and national electrical codes, safety regulations, and industrial best practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.
  • Attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a project team.
  • Willingness to work on-site in Toa Baja and adapt to changing project needs, schedules, and environments.
