Job summary

The Tuckey Companies is seeking an experienced Electrician to plan layouts, install and repair wiring, fixtures, apparatus and control equipment. The role requires reading blueprints and sketches/diagrams to determine wiring and equipment locations.

You will measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble and install conduit and perform circuit testing as part of providing a full electrical service for customers. After the introductory period, competitive benefits and opportunities for advancement are

Qualifications

• Experience reading blueprints and diagrams.
• 3+ years electrical experience preferred.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and work in tight spaces.

Electrician will plan layout and perform installation and repairs of wiring, electrical fixtures, apparatus and control equipment. Must be able to read blueprints and sketches/diagrams showing wiring and equipment location. Will measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble and install conduit and perform circuit testing. Our objective is to provide a full scope of electrical service work to accommodate our customers. Prefer 3 or more years experience. Physical requirements to perform the job include ability to stand or walk for long periods, climb and maintain balance on high ladders and scaffolds, possess dexterity to handle and grasp wires and tools. Will bend, crouch and work in small places, crawlspaces, high places or confined spaces. Must be able to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
