Job summary

Trade Team is seeking a Marine Electrician Journeyman I–V for our San Diego, CA location. Role involves installing, repairing and connecting electrical systems on ships, with duties performed without direct supervision.

Requires minimum 6 years marine/shipyard experience; 18+ years of age; associates degree or technical certification preferred and ability to obtain/maintain a DoD security clearance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of marine and/or shipyard experience.
• Associates Degree or Technical Certification preferred.
• Ability to obtain / maintain a Department of Defense Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair and connect equipment for all electrical services on the ship without supervision.
• Lay out, pull, lift and install cables and conduits without supervision.
• Prepare work area, drill holes, grind metal surfaces, and mount equipment with minimal supervision.
• Test electrical equipment in accordance with NAVSEA Standard Items without supervision.

Marine Electrician Journeyman Job Summary:
