Buildforce is seeking a Commercial Electrician for a 3-6 month project in Blacksburg, VA. The role starts as soon as Oct 01, 2026, with a 7am-3:30pm schedule and a $27–$35 hourly rate depending on experience.

You will lead a small crew of 3–4 workers on a student housing project, perform distribution and underground installations, read electrical prints, and ensure safety and quality on site. Must have own tools and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Three years of commercial electrical experience is required.
• Ability to lead a small crew and work independently.
• Skill in distribution, underground work, conduit bending, and reading prints.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret electrical prints and plans.
