Job summary

One Source Heating, Cooling, Plumbing & Electrical is seeking a Residential Service Electrician Technician to deliver safe, efficient electrical services for our Birmingham, AL area clients. You will perform installations, repairs, and maintenance in residential properties while ensuring code compliance and high-quality customer service.

• Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills.
• Outstanding customer service and communication abilities.

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance in residential properties, including wiring, circuit installations, electrical panel upgrades, lighting installations, and troubleshooting electrical issues.
• Conduct thorough inspections to assess electrical systems, identify potential hazards, and recommend necessary repairs or upgrades.
• Collaborate with homeowners to understand their electrical needs, provide expert advice, and offer solutions to improve energy efficiency and safety.
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards in all service work performed.
• Diagnose electrical malfunctions using appropriate testing equipment and implement effective solutions to resolve issues.
• Complete electrical service calls in a timely manner, manage work orders, and maintain accurate documentation of work performed.
• Educate homeowners on electrical system operation, maintenance best practices, and safety guidelines.
• Keep abreast of industry advancements, emerging technologies, and electrical code updates to enhance technical knowledge and skills.
