Job summary

Current Electrical is seeking an Electrician to join our growing team. This role leads the installation of whole-home standby generators and other residential electrical projects, ensuring safety and quality in every project.

The ideal candidate has a strong residential electrical background, at least 3 years of experience, NEC knowledge, and proven leadership and communication skills to guide teams and satisfy customers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of residential electrical experience required.
• Prior experience with standby generator installations is strongly preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of NEC and local electrical codes.
• Ability to lead teams and delegate tasks effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform electrical installations for whole-home standby generators.
• Coordinate with plumbing and installation teams to ensure seamless project execution.
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints, diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Ensure compliance with all local and national electrical codes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues during and after installation.
• Mentor and guide junior electricians and helpers to ensure high-quality workmanship.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites at all times.
• Communicate effectively with customers, inspectors, and internal teams.
• Complete and maintain accurate documentation of work performed.
